Bai Cebu Lechon - Suisun City: Reviews & Ratings
The lechon is really good, but my concern is that when you pay, they always read out the entire card number, including the three digits on the back. That’s really scary because someone nearby could hear it and know your card details even their staff can hear it. That’s why I’m sometimes hesitant to order.
When I'm in the area, I always make it a point to stop here for the lechon (roasted pig) - really tastes like lechon Cebu. My child loves their Bam-i (pancit) too!
So glad we found this place! Five stars is NOT ENOUGH! They make the lumpia & lechon belly fresh for you, so you need to order them the day before you need it. The lumpia is DELICIOUS & the lechon belly is AMAZING! If you've never had the lechon belly, it's pork belly roasted on a spit; you get the deliciousness of the belly with the addition of crunch. You definitely need to try it!
Fresh roasted pork, crispy skin and tasty. It’s sitting in the “Asian Market Plaza”. $26 something for 1.6 lbs, good for two lunch boxes to-go, with a scope of steamed white rice and sauces for the pork.
This place has absolutely the Lechon pork I have ever head. The people are really friendly and the service was quick and excellent. Some places you go to for atmosphere, not this place, this is 100% a place you go to for the type of food you’ll be thinking about for weeks afterward. People forget that the hole in the wall joint may be serving way better food than the place in the fancy building with the white tablecloths. I wish I lived closer because I would make it a must at least once a month!
First timers! Sold! We are fans. We went in to buy a couple items. Tried an empanada sweet and savory. Good! Pancit - wow one order is a full container. I didn't know it was one size and I ordered a small, haha. It had great flavor! Now the lechon steals the show. Crunchy skin and amazing flavor! Thank you!!! We will be back. Love how the Marina Center has some great places to eat at.
I recently stopped by again at this place and what a joy it was running into the owner, Jojo, who is enthusiastic and proud of his culinary skills. And rightly so as Cebuanos are regarded as the masters of lechon roasting in the Philippines. Though these folks do whole hogs for special occasions or order, their main offering on a daily basis is the belly rolls. It's actually a technique I didn't know about, but once I saw it, I was floored and thought it was genius. After all, the pork belly of the lechon is the cream of the crop, so why not specialize in serving the most sought after cut of the pig? And you're in for a treat because Jojo has his personal spices, a highly kept secret, infused in the meat and I could distinctly taste the unique flavor. It is unmistakably infused, I can't put my finger on it (it's a secret remember?), but I think it's lemongrass among a lot of other things. But, forget deconstructing it and just go in and enjoy this place. It's reasonably priced, the staff works hard to please its patrons, and above all, it'll make glad you support a mom & pop restaurant. Filipino food has a tough time showcasing its culinary virtues against a lot of other ethnic cuisines, especially Asian ones, and this place is a good ambassador of the Philippines. Good luck and I'm confident you'll like it. I wish this enterprise the very best.
This was our second time dining at this restaurant, and it was just as satisfying as the first. We absolutely love the lechon belly—crispy skin and that rich, authentic Cebu-style flavor that brings back so many memories. The pancit was a bit salty for our taste this time, but still enjoyable overall. Portions are generous—we had plenty of delicious leftovers for the next day. We’ll definitely be coming back again!
